Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions without notice.

You must use in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.

You must not:

  • use for any activities, or post or transmit to or via any information or materials, which breach any laws or regulations, infringe a third party's rights or privacy, or are contrary to any relevant standards or codes
  • use in a way, or post to or transmit to or via any material, which interferes with other users or defames, harasses, threatens, menaces or offends any person or which inhibits any other user from using
  • use to send unsolicited commercial or bulk electronic mail messages to anyone
  • make any fraudulent or speculative enquiries, orders or requests using
  • use another's Member ID or name without permission
  • provide false information when registering or changing your registration details
  • impersonate another person when using
  • tamper with, hinder the operation of or make unauthorised modifications to
  • knowingly transmit any virus or other disabling feature to or via; and
  • attempt any of the above acts or permit another person to do any of the above acts.

    GST is included in all prices.

    Prices are subject to alteration without notice and should be checked when ordering.

    The right is reserved to alter the specifications and prices quoted, although every effort is made to advise customers of changes.

    Products are subject to the manufacturer's guarantee. This relates to the product being supplied in working order and of merchantable quality but usually excludes any minimum working life after fitting. Where necessary all return and delivery costs are at the customers expense.

    Product guarantees are from date of supply.

    Should a product have been misused, a repair attempted or damage that may occur during shipping, the guarantee is null and void.

    Please choose your order carefully as we will not accept returns for refund. If items are faulty and are covered under guarantee and are not damages that occured during shipping, a returns number must be obtained from our Customer Service Department and must be quoted with a description of the fault when the goods are returned. Once authorisation has been given for return we must receive the goods within 7 days. All return, delivery and administration costs are at the customers expense. Where returns are accepted a minimum 25% restocking charge will apply and freight will not be refunded.

    Shortages, returns and non-deliveries must be advised within 7 days in writing.

    We reserve the right to cancel an order where the item is no longer available from our source. We maybe able to find a similar product to replace the item and would contact you for your advise on how to proceed.

    If a cancellation is received from you or your agent after the goods have already been backordered or sent, Allied Appliance reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the goods value. If the item has already been sent to you from Allied Appliance or one of its agents no monies for freight, handling or packaging will be returned. If items are to be cancelled, a cancellation number must be obtained from our Customer Service Department before any monies can be refunded. All return, delivery and administration costs are at the customers expense.

    Cancellations must be received within 7 days in writing.

    Shipping & Backorders
    The freight price includes postage, handling and packaging costs. The shipping times quoted are shown to act as a guide only and are calculated in working days. These are calculated from average delivery times that are normally encountered. Delays should be expected if products have to be backordered.

    We accept no liability for delays in shipping or damage that may occur during shipping. Should damage occur to your order during shipping you should contact Australia Post. In a rare event that Australia Post loses you order, under their terms the receiver of the item has to make a claim with them regarding the loss. We can provide date of post, proof of postage and a tracking number (where available) to you to help with your claim with them.

    Normally we do not automatically advise if orders are placed on backorder. If requested we will give advice on the status of an order.

    Superceeded Parts
    Superceeded parts are beyond our control. Some parts supplied by the manufacturer may now be superseeded by the manufacturer to another part and may not look the same as the original part but is still the correct part to fit and may need slight modification to fit it. Some images displayed on our website maybe images of the former parts. It may come with a guide on how to retrofit the part or we usually can give the installing electrician advise on how to fit it.

    Qualified Personnel
    All electrical repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician required by law in your state or territory, check the code of practise and legislation in your state for details on what repairs have to be carried out by qualified personnel.

    Allied Appliance will under no circumstances be liable for any loss or damage caused arising from the supply of technical advice, information, assistance or goods supplied.
